Thirty years of ripples

Each chapter began with one act of service and spread further than expected. This is the journey from Mansehra and Abbottabad to Woodbridge, Virginia.

The journey

  1. 1994

    Starting in sales

    Began work as an independent sales consultant in Abbottabad, learning to listen to customers and close the loop.

  2. 1995

    Rotaract volunteer

    Joined Rotaract in Mansehra, took part in National Polio Eradication Days, and was recognized at Rotaract district conferences.

  3. 1998

    Pharmaceutical sales

    Promoted medicines to physicians and pharmacists across Abbottabad district for several companies, building relationships with hundreds of healthcare providers.

  4. 1999

    Similia Homoeo Clinix founded

    Founded the practice in Abbottabad, and that year again served in the national polio campaign as a Rotaractor.

  5. 2000

    Public-health trainer

    Completed a UNICEF-sponsored Training of Trainers program on HIV/AIDS awareness.

  6. 2003

    Qualified in homoeopathic medicine

    Completed the DHMS at Sarban Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Abbottabad.

  7. 2004

    Registered practitioner, full clinical operations

    Registered as a Homoeopathic Medical Practitioner by the National Council for Homoeopathy, Pakistan, on 30 August 2004. Similia Homoeo Clinix began formal clinical operations on 9 November 2004, later growing into a multi-location practice.

  8. 2006

    Lifetime Achievement Award

    Recognized by the National Council for Homoeopathy, Government of Pakistan.

  9. 2007

    Similia Health & Educational Society

    Established the society to run free medical camps, health education and community development.

  10. 2008

    MBA in Marketing Management

    Completed at Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad.

  11. 2010

    Free health education online

    Launched a YouTube channel in Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi that has since passed 2.8 million views.

  12. 2012

    BHMS, Gold Medal

    Graduated first in his class from Hazara University.

  13. 2014

    M.Sc. in Psychology

    Completed at Hazara University, and was named a Paul Harris Fellow by The Rotary Foundation (2013–14).

  14. 2015

    Rite Institute of Mind Sciences

    Founded an institute that trained 500 coaches, counselors and educators. His books Rite Healing and Asan Mindfulness were launched at the International Homoeopathic Conference in Mumbai.

  15. 2016

    International delegate

    Attended the 1st Eurasian Homoeopathic Conference in Russia.

  16. 2019

    Speaking out for children

    Spoke at “Shatter the Silence,” a child-abuse awareness seminar of the District Administration, Abbottabad, and attended the Rotary International Convention in Hamburg.

  17. 2020

    Serving through COVID-19

    Kept serving patients through the pandemic and received the Gold Award in Rotary District 3272’s COVID-19 Hero Awards (2020–21).

  18. 2021

    Club President

    Led the Rotary Club of Abbottabad Valley (2021–22) and the World Polio Day walk.

  19. 2022

    Assistant Governor

    Served Rotary International District 3272 as Assistant Governor (2022–24), attended the Rotary Convention in Houston, and received the Regional Service Award for a Polio-Free World.

  20. 2025

    A new chapter in Virginia

    Moved to the United States, joined the Rotary Club of Woodbridge, and founded BillingBell Healthcare Systems and Creative Clusters Marketing.

  21. 2026

    Honored on a visit home

    During a January 2026 visit to Pakistan, the Ilaf Club hosted a reception in his honor at Modern Age Public School and College, Abbottabad.
